In 2005, Nintendo’s president Satoru Iwata unveiled the Wii Remote and Nunchuck. During the unveiling, Iwata stated that the new controls would set a new standard for the first-person shooter (FPS) market. Nearly four years later, the FPS genre on Wii is still lacking. Many of the major FPS games are on other platforms. The Conduit hopes to fill that void and establish the control standard Iwata proposed. Indeed, standard is the best word to describe The Conduit.
